I cant stress the point of using site maps enough to my clients, by using site maps you will not only be indexed and crawled faster but you will give your users a clear map of everything your site has to offer. Creating a sitemap is a bit time consuming and you have to know some xml although there are generators you can use or buy, it is worth it in the end. An example is my site Advernation i added a site map , now hypothetically speaking I make a new page and because i have the site map, i can update it and the next day like magic ill see it indexed in google. Have to love those site maps. :)
